Eric Burdon (lead vocals), Jackie Carter (vocals), Frank Dietz (guitars), Bertram Engel (drums,/vocals), Bernd Gärtig (guitars/vocals), Jean-Jacques Kravetz (keyboards), Nippy Noya (afro percussion) and Reginald Worthy (bass).
This line-up had evolved out of the late 1979 band Euro Mann and, now named Eric Burdon's Fire Dept, recorded the "The Last Drive" album in mid 1980.

Eric Burdon, Louisiana Red, Frank Dietz, Nippy Noya, Bertram Engel, Paul Millns, Reginald Worthy and Bernd Gärtig.
Tour of Austria, Germany, Switzerland and France with a line-up that included Paul Millns but did not include Reginald Worthy. At this time blues great Loisianna Red also appeared regularly with the band as a guest star (vocals, harmonica, guitar).

Eric Burdon, Snuffy Walden, Ronnie Barron, Bobby Martin, Tony Braunagle and Billy McCubbon.
The band was formed for the recording of tracks and live scenes for the film "Comeback". Other musicians were also credited ... John Sterling, Steve Goldstein, Luis Cabaza, Tom Vigil and Terry Wilson (who replaced McCubbon on bass).

August 1981 - Eric Burdon Band
Eric Burdon, Pat Couchois, Chris Couchois, Howard Messer, and John Sterling.
This line-up of the band was also formed for the recording of tracks and live scenes for the film "Comeback" ... a second band was needed to embassies in the movie the change in location for "Rocco" from Los Angeles to Berlin. 
      
September 1981 - Eric Burdon Band
Eric Burdon, Snuffy Walden, Ronnie Barron, Bobby Martin, Terry Wilson, Rosa King and Nippy Noya.
This line-up of the band was formed for the final act of the movie filmed in the Metropole Club in Berlin. The band toured the west coast of USA in the (northern hemisphere) autumn of 1982 and also toured Australia. Gigs were also played in New York, St. Louis and Los Angeles. 
       
August 1982 - Eric Burdon Band
Eric Burdon (lead vocals), Terry Wilson (bass guitar), Red Young (piano/synthesizer), Skip Van Winkle (organ), Don Evans (guitar) and Dennis Edwards (drums).
This line-up of the band performed at the Rockpalast Open Air Concert (Lorelei ,Germany on 28-Aug-82).
  
May 1983 - The Animals
Eric Burdon (vocals), Hilton Valentine (guitars), Chas Chandler (bass guitar/backing vocals), John Steel (drums), Alan Price (organ/backing vocals), Zoot Money, Steve Grant, Nippy Noya and Steve Gregory.
Recorded the "Ark" album at the Country Lane Studio in Germering, Germany commencing on 16-Jun-83. Dionisio Castello notes that the original band members were supported by Zoot Money (keyboards), Steve Grant (guitar), Nippy Noya (percussionist from Eric Burdon's Fire Dept.) and Steve Gregory (a saxophonist who had played with Price and Burdon at the Newcastle City Hall in December 1982 when Burdon guest starred in Alan Price's concert). The last gig of the 1983 re-union tour was held at the Wembley Arena in London on 31-Dec-83 and was released as the (Rip It To Shreds) "Greatest Hits Live!" album.

Eric Burdon (vocals), Zoot Money (keyboards), Pat Crumly (sax), Robbie Burns (bass), Brian Godding (guitar) and Mitch Harwood (drums). 
Burdon formed another band and commenced an extensive European tour in March 1984.

After an August tour of Canada, economic circumstances led to Money and Crumly departing the band.

Eric Burdon, Steve Grant, Robbie Burns and Mitch Harwood
Steve grant joined the band to replace Zoot Money prior to the Australian tour. Upon the band's return to Europe, Brian Godding departed. This line-up commenced another European tour at the beginning of 1985.

Eric Burdon (vocals), Tom Blades (keyboards/guitar), Robbie Burns (bass guitar) and Mitch Harwood (drums)
After some gigs in Sweden, Steve Grant was replaced by Tom Blades.

This line-up appeared on the "That's Live" album (recorded live at Kahlsrue, Germany on 08-Mar-85).

These musicians recorded the "I Used To Be An Animal" album in 1988 at Indigo Ranch, Malibu, CA USA. Mixed at Ocean Way Studios, Hollywood, CA USA. Produced by: Steve Grant, Eric Burdon, Carlo Nasi.
  
June 1989 - The Party Boys
Eric Burdon (vocals), Mal Eastwick (lead guitar), Paul Christie (bass guitar), Mal Logan (keyboards) and Warren McLean (drums)
In June/July 1989, Eric Burdon toured the east coast of Australia with The Party Boys (a loosely formatted group of talented musicians from various Australian bands). Logan had replaced Sam McNally early in the tour.
