| From the notes contained in the 8pp booklet included in the CD cover: 1971 saw an effort by Eric to return to his roots with blues great Jimmy Witherspoon on his ill-fated LP "Guilty". He then went on to record with several other groups, culminating in the sessions that appear on this LP. Originally recorded as "The Eric Burdon Band" in 1974 (a four man inter-racial ensemble), the LP received some airplay with new versions of Animal's hits. These recordings are collected here from those out of print efforts. As a special bonus this album contains two previously unreleased tracks of 13 minutes additional music: "Ghetto Child" from the forthcoming album Mirage and Eric Burdon & WAR's "Train Thing Melody". | ||
| Tracks #01 to #02 were recorded in 1974 (produced by Jerry Goldstein); track #15 in 1975 and t6rack #16 in 1970. | ||
| The "four man inter-racial ensemble" referred to above is believed to be the personnel as credited on the "Sun Secrets" album in 1974 (Aalon Butler - guitar, Alvin Taylor - drums, Randy Rice - bass guitar and Eric Burdon - vocals). | ||
