Although credited on the labels to "The Animals with Eric Burdon", this LP contains a compilation of 1960's recordings were by The Animals (pre Sep-65) and Eric Burdon & The Animals (post the Sep-65 split).
The back of the LP cover features substantial notes by Glenn A. Baker ending in the words ... "The Animals legacy is rich and vital, reminding us all of an era when raw emotion and untrained energy mattered more than technology; when the howling intensity of a young, hot blues band could be captured in the most basic of studios and endure the passage of time without one spark of the original power diminished.
