AMG Expert Review: This was supposedly a limited edition of 400 copies, so it's a collector's item to say the least. But if it ever gets re-pressed, or if the material makes its way onto another album, it's not a bad pickup for Animals fans. Unfortunately, the sources for the material are unidentified, but it's obviously live radio/TV performances from the group's mid-'60s prime. The performances are fine, the sound quality is very good by bootleg standards, and the song selection is interesting, including both hits and off-the-beaten-path numbers like "Lucille" and "I'm Going to Change the World." The most notable surprise is a good version of the Rolling Stones' "Connection." — Richie Unterberger
Also released as an LP picture disc in Italy in 1983 (BMPE 02 A e B).
These tracks also appear on a subsequent Italian bootleg CD "When We Were Young" (Living Legend 1988).
Back of LP has an English address for Wind Records - however this bootleg LP was released in Italy.
Thanks to Dionisio Castello (" Good Times" 1991) for recording details and cover image.
