AMG Expert Review: This was supposedly a limited edition of 400 copies, so it's a collector's item to say the least. But if it ever gets re-pressed, or if the material makes its way onto another album, it's not a bad pickup for Animals fans. Unfortunately, the sources for the material are unidentified, but it's obviously live radio/TV performances from the group's mid-'60s prime. The performances are fine, the sound quality is very good by bootleg standards, and the song selection is interesting, including both hits and off-the-beaten-path numbers like "Lucille" and "I'm Going To Change the World." The most notable surprise is a good version of the Rolling Stones' "Connection." — Richie Unterberger
These tracks also appear on a subsequent Italian bootleg CD "When We Were Young" (Living Legend 1988).
Also released as an LP  in Italy in 1983 (Wind Records MIR 00102).
Picture on the disc is of Eric Burdon & The Animals (not The Animals).
Thanks to Dionisio Castello ("Good Times" 1991) for recording details and cover image.
