| AMG Expert Review: This was supposedly a limited edition of 400 copies, so it's a collector's item to say the least. But if it ever gets re-pressed, or if the material makes its way onto another album, it's not a bad pickup for Animals fans. Unfortunately, the sources for the material are unidentified, but it's obviously live radio/TV performances from the group's mid-'60s prime. The performances are fine, the sound quality is very good by bootleg standards, and the song selection is interesting, including both hits and off-the-beaten-path numbers like "Lucille" and "I'm Going To Change the World." The most notable surprise is a good version of the Rolling Stones' "Connection." Richie Unterberger | ||
