| The title of this CD perhaps should have been ... "Blast From The Present Pretending To Be From The Past". | ||
| Despite a photo of The Animals on the cover (around 1965 - featuring Rowberry who had by then replaced Price on keyboards), the tracks on this CD were all recorded in the 1990's by a band formed and fronted by Danny McCulloch (ex bassist with the late 1960's Eric Burdon & The Animals). The band does not feature Eric Burdon or any of the other members of the 1960's line-ups of The Animals or Eric Burdon & The Animals apart from McCulloch. | ||
| The CD however contains intersesting re-recordings of the hits made famous by The Animals and Eric Burdon & The Animals in the 1960's as well as some intersting new tracks from McCulloch & Co (in particular, "Frisco Queen" and "Night Fighter"). | ||
| Many CD's have been issued featuring these tracks and most appear to have been marketed to mislead the purchaser by not revealing the artists who actually recorded the tracks and featuring photos of the real 1960's band line-ups on the CD covers. | ||
