Although the recordings on this LP are credited to Eric Burdon And The Animals, "Don't Bring Me Down" was actually recorded by The Animals and released in May'66 before the formation by Eric Burdon of Eric Burdon & The Animals.
The band photo on the front of the album is of The Animals (after Price had been replaced by Rowberry but before Jenkins had replacewd Steel on drums ... at back from left to right John Steel and Chas Chandler / at front from left to right Eric Burdon, Dave Rowberry and Hilton Valentine).
Only Burdon and Jenkins went on in the late 60's to feature in the recording of the balance of the tracks on this LP as Eric Burdon & The Animals with John Weider, Vic Briggs and Danny McCulloch. Later Zoot Money was added (he was credited as George Bruno on the "Every One Of Us" album) .... and then later again, Andy Summers (also known as Somers) replaced McCulloch and Briggs in the band line-up before the recording of the "Love Is" double album.
