Live recordings from the Newcastle Dec'63 gig with the American blues great - also released as an LP by Charly in UK as "The Animals With Sonny Boy Williamson" and re-packaged as a CD with extra tracks in 1988.
This album was released as Volume 2 in the "Faces and Places" series from BYG Records (this album and "Faces & Places Vol.1 : Eric Burdon + Animals" were the first LP's to publish the Newcastle 1963 tapes). The entire Dec'63 gig has been released in the USA in 2002 in CD format by Fuel 2000 Records as "The Animals: Taken Alive".
