Incorrectly credited to The Animals, this is yet another misleading release of tracks recorded in he 1990's by a band formed and fronted by Danny McClloch (1960's basist with Eric Burdon & The Animals) and calling themselves The Animals. Other than McCulloch, the band features none of the 1960's members of The Animals or Eric Burdon & The Animals.
The CD contains some interesting covers of the 1960's hits plus some enjoyable new songs from McCulloch and Co (Howlin', Frisco Queen, Night Fighter, Roadbuster, Stand Up and Love Fire) ... however this band is simply not The Animals.
Also released by Brentwood in cassette format.
