| Released posthumously in 1976, this abum was compiled from outakes and live material that had been sitting around since 1970 (Eric Burdon and WAR had been together for only a brief time during 1969/71). A great collection of long and loose jams featuring Eric Burdon (vocals and percussion), B. B. Dickerson (bass and vocals), Lee Oskar (harmonica, percussion and vocals), Papa Dee Allen (conga, bongos, percussion and vocals), Lonnie Jordan (organ, pianno and vocals), Howard Scott (guitar and vocals), Harold Brown (drums, percussion and vocals) and Charles Miller (saxes, percussion, vocals and flute).Features 'Magic Mountain' from the 1970 "Eric Burdon Declares WAR" sessions (a great track which was the B-side to the hit single 'Spill The Wine') and an adventurous re-make of the Beatles classic 'A Day In The Life'. | ||
| Also released as a CD in 1993 (Avenue/Rhino) and as a CS (Avenue/Rhino). | ||
This LP has been kindly provided to Kojak's personal colletion as a gift by Jan Franzén (KALIX, Sweden). |
