| The USA released "Comeback" LP (Blackline 1983) was subsequently re-issued in LP format as "Devil's Daughter" (Platinum Germany), and as "Power Company" (released by various record companies in the USA, England, Germany, Greece and Yugoslavia between 1983 and 1986). The Blackline album was credited to Eric Burdon ... however the tracks 'Poer Company' was actually recorded in France in April 1980 by Eric Burdon's Fire Dept. (the band included Bernd Gärtig, J. J. Kravetz, N. Noya, B. Engel, Reginald Worthy, Frank Dietz and Jackie Carter). The other tracks on this album were recorded in the making of the movie more than 12 months later by The Eric Burdon Band in a USA studio in May 1981 (Eric Burdon with Snuffy Walden, Ronnie Barron, Bobby Martin, Tony Braunagle, and Billy McCubbon) as well as in August 1981 in Los Angeles as live scenes for the movie "Comeback". Other musicians were also credited including John Sterling, Steve Goldstein, Luis Cabaza, Tom Vigil and Terry Wilson (who by then had replaced McCubbon on bass). | ||
| The "Eric Burdon Band - Comeback" album (Line Records LP Germany 1982 and re-released in CD format in 1987) contains a different track listing ... the tracks however came from the same recording sessions listed above and were later re-released as the "The Road" LP (Thunderbolt England 1984), the "Wall Of Silence" LP (Platinum Germany) and the "Crawling King Snake" CD (Thunderbolt 1994). The track 'Bird On The Beach' was recorded by Eric Burdon's Fire Dept. in France in April 1980 at the same session as the recording of the track 'Power Company'. | ||
