Notes:
After years of searching to confirm the details of this rare 1960's Decca release, Kojak was provided in March 2004 with an image of the LP cover by Antonios Kollias (Landshut, GERMANY). Until then, this album had been regarded by Kojak as virtually a "phantom" as he had only seen it listed very rarely in discographies and even then just the name of the album had been listed. Dionisio Castello had also confirmed to Kojak that he had excluded this album from his 1991 book ("Good Times") on the basis that he was unable to substantiate its existence "first hand" ... it had only been referred to by others as appearing on someone else's list of LP's released by The Animals.
Although the LP cover credits Eric Burdon and The Animals, the tracks on this LP were recorded before the formation of Eric Burdon and The Animals.   "She'll Return It" was first released on the UK "Animalisms" album in June 66 (this LP had been credited to The Animals). "See See Rider" was first released on the USA "Animalization" album in August 1966 (this LP had also been credited to The Animals and also featured "She'll Return It").  "Help Me Girl" was actually a solo recording by Eric Burdon with Barry Jenkins and studio musicians for the "Eric Is Here" album in the period between the September 1966 split of The Animals and the subsequent formation of Eric Burdon & The Animals.
The photo on the cover of the LP shows the line-up of The Animals after the departure of Alan Price (replacd by Dave Rowberry) but before the departure of John Steel (replaced by Barry Jenkins). It features Dave Rowberry (left at front), Chas Chandler (centre at back), John Steel (centre at front), Eric Burdon (riaght at back) and Hilton Valentine (right at front).
