THE ANIMALS II

In 1993 Hilton Valentine (original guitarist with The Animals from 1963 to 1967) put a band together playing Animals songs. Within a year, Hilton invited John Steele (original drummer with the Animals 1963 to 1966) to join him. Several line-up changes occurred during the 1990's. The band with the line-up of Robert Kane (vocals), Hilton Valentine (guitars), John Steel (drums), Steve Dawson (guitars), Steve Hutchinson (keyboards) and Martin Bland (bass) toured and recorded as Animals II from 1996 through to 1999.

Valentine, Steel and Dave Rowberry (also an ex-Animal from the 1060's) later formed a new band which performed and toured as The Animals from 1999 through to 2001.
